FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do we find Grand Paradise
Waterpark?
A: Grand Paradise Waterpark is
located in Collins, Mississippi
approximately 30 north of
Hattiesburg and 60 south of
Jackson, on Highway 49 at the
intersection of Highway 84.
Grand Paradise Waterpark is
located behind Best Western
Collins Inn & Suites
Q: What forms of payment do you
accept?
A: Grand Paradise Waterpark
accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard,
and Discover. Checks are only
accepted for groups and birthday
parties. We charge $40.00 for
returned checks.
Q: Do I still have to pay if I
don’t get in the water?
A: Yes, we have a spectator fee,
however you must pay full amount
to get into the park and get a
wristband and you will receive a
$4.00 refund if you still have
your wristband on, not tampered
with, and
dry.
Q: Can we bring our own food and
drinks into the park?
A: No, There is no outside food,
drinks, or coolers allowed into
the park.
Q: Can we bring in our own chair
or life jackets?
A: Grand Paradise does allow you
to bring in you own chair or
life jacket but we are not
reliable for it.
Q: Can I leave the park and get
back in?
A: All guests leaving the park
and planning to return that day
are required to show un-tampered
wrist band before reentering the
park.
Q: What can I wear on the slide?
A: Appropriate swimwear is
required. No thongs, jeans,
pants with rivets, cut offs,
belts, buckles or chains. Shoes
and sunglasses are not allowed
on the slides.
Q: Does Grand Paradise have a
rain policy?
A: Yes, if the park is closed
for 60 consecutive minutes, then
we give out rain checks that are
good for half price off next visit
within the same season or come
after 3:00pm for free.
Q: What is the dept of the
water?
A: Splash pool and lazy
river-3foot
Toddler area 0-12inches, kids
play center 0-16 inches
Q: Are floaties allowed?
A: We do not allow floaties or
the swimsuits that have a tube
sewn into them. to be used for
safety purposes…They don’t help
and get in the way.
Q: Does my infant have to wear
swim diapers?
A: Yes, if they normally wear a
diaper or not potty trained.
Swim diapers are available in
“Tropical Treasures” gift shop.
Q: Are there any shade areas?
A: Yes, on a first-come space
available basis…come early
Q: Do I have to wear swimwear?
A: Yes, for the enjoyment and
safety, swimwear is required.
Q: Do you have height
restrictions on the slide?
A: You have to be at least 42”
tall to ride all the slides
except the Wipeout and you must
be 48” tall, no exceptions
Q: If I am pregnant, can I ride
the slides?
A: We would suggest for you not
to ride the slides or any of the
attractions…but check with your
doctor first.
Q: Can I smoke at Grand Paradise
Waterpark?
A: Designated smoking area is
provided.
Q: How much does it cost to rent
a locker?
A: Lockers are $5.00 plus a
$5.00 deposit. If you return you
key at the end of the day you
will receive you $5.00 deposit
back. Our lockers provide you
with all day, unlimited access
to your belongings. Lockers are
on first come basis.

HOT TIPS
Always have a designated meeting place for those
in your party if you become separated.
Proper swimwear - Please, no obscene or
see-through attire is permitted. Grand
Paradise Waterpark withholds the right to deem
swimming attire. Swim wear is available in
Tropical Treasure gift shop.
YOU MUST HAVE A SWIM SUIT ON TO USE THE PARK
ATTRACTIONS. YOU MAY WEAR COVER ATTIRE SUCH AS
SWIM SHORTS AND T-SHIRT ALONG WITH YOUR
SWIMSUIT. NO CUT-OFF JEANS OR OTHER NON-SWIM
WEAR IS ALLOWED.
Towels - If you forget, towels are available for
purchase from Tropical Treasures gift shop.
Waterproof sunscreen - We prefer you use lotions
and not oil-based products. If you forget yours
we have some available at Tropical Treasures
gift shop.
Flip flops or sandals - Remember the sidewalks
can get very hot.
Camera - Capture all the memories of paradise.
If you forget yours, we have them available at
Tropical Treasures gift shop.
Extra money - Once inside the Grand Paradise
Waterpark, we have a gift shop, food court, ice
cream, snow cones, and other items available to
purchase.
What not to bring:
Pets - WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS
Jewelry - Best left at home, it might get lost
on one of the slides.
Food or drinks - No outside food or beverages is
allowed in the park. Coolers are not permitted.
Non-regulated flotation devices - We provide
life vest and tubes at no extra charge. NO arm
floaties, oversized tubes, rafts, swim rings, or
fun noodles are allowed.

If you are in need of
accommodations, we can recommend the following, and are
happy to assist you with contact information. These
properties are well within walking distance
of Grand Paradise Waterpark, and convenient
to area restaurants.
